On Thursday, February 25th, KD (Ken) Bantz will perform in the Hall-Moser Theatre at the Portland Center of Arts Place. The performance will begin at 7:30. It will be livestreamed to both YouTube and Facebook. Make sure to be settled in and ready to watch the show around 7:25 so you don't miss a thing!
You can eat, drink, and be merry in your own home while still enjoying a live performance. This is Arts Place's first attempt at a live broadcasted show, and it's completely free to tune in.
You do not need a YouTube account to watch on YouTube, but you would need a Facebook account to watch from Facebook. And if you can't catch the performance live, don't worry! It will be available for viewing on Arts Place's website a few days after the show.
The theme for this performance is "Love." After the year we've had, I think we could all agree that the world needs a little more love. This is what Ken had to say:
"Once during a chat with a close friend I told him 'the older I get seems the less I know' -- a few days after our visit, I realized that there is one major certainty I have learned in this life and that's how the song "This I Know" came about. "The more love that you show, makes the world a better place, this I know, this I know. " Love is the theme for this performance - songs about spiritual love, love at first sight, being smitten by love, love and forgiveness, keeping your heart open to love and how love completes the great circle of our humanity. Hope you tune in". KDB
